- Bible Web App
Developed by Digital Bible Society, the Bible Web App offers researchers the opportunity to view parallel versions of the Bible in English with Greek (Tisch) and Hebrew (WLC), including parsings, morphology, and lemma. While not nearly as powerful as desktop software for Greek study, this free tool can be useful.
Hebrew
- Semantic Dictionary of Biblical Hebrew
SDBH is created and maintained by the United Bible Societies. Its aim is to build a new dictionary of biblical Hebrew that is based on semantic domains, comparable to Louw & Nida's Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament (1989). Several Hebrew scholars from various parts of the world serve as contributors, with Dr. Reinier de Blois serving as editor.
- Ancient Hebrew Research Center
A resource for those interest in the ancient Hebrew alphabet, philosophy, and culture.
- History of the Hebrew Language
A site dedicated to all things related to the history of the Hebrew Language. The site also includes a comparative essay on the similarities and differences between Semitic languages.
Greek
- Perseus Word Study Tool
The Perseus Word Study Tool offers users both multiple lexical resources as well as word frequency statistics of its massive corpus of Greek works. Highly recommended by faculty.
- OpenText.org
The OpenText.org project is a web-based initiative to develop annotated Greek texts and tools for their analysis. The projects aims to both serve, and to collaborate with, the scholarly community.
- Greek Dictionary
An online, fully searchable version of the Liddell-Scott-Jones Greek-English Lexicon, from Thesaurus Linguae Graecae (TLG); faculty recommend the Perseus Word Study Tool over the TLG.
